For partners
Helping young women navigate early adulthood before challenges become crises.
Her Best Steps partners with universities, colleges, community and faith organisations, women's services and workplaces to reach young women aged 18 to 25 earlier, before crisis.
We equip young women with the knowledge, confidence and practical tools to navigate adulthood safely, and we do it in the places they already are and already trust.

Why partner with us
Young women aged 16 to 24 face some of the highest rates of relationship harm of any age group, and one in four now lives with a mental health condition. Most support arrives after crisis. Ours is designed to arrive before it.
Our programmes reach young women before challenges become crises, building practical skills early, delivered with safeguarding at the centre.
What we offer
Talks and guest speaking
Honest, practical talks for students, staff and young women on healthy relationships, confidence and navigating early adulthood. Delivered by our founder, Jasmin Barrett, combining professional communications expertise, public speaking experience, domestic abuse ambassador training and lived insight into the challenges young women face.
Educational workshops
Standalone sessions built around the topics young women tell us matter most: healthy relationships, consent and boundaries, recognising unhealthy behaviours, building support networks, and financial confidence. Designed for freshers' programmes, wellbeing initiatives and community settings.
Safe Futures™
Our flagship preventative programme across four foundations: Relational, Internal, Family and Financial. Shaped by Her Voices, our listening work with young women, and piloted with founding partners before wider delivery.
Become a Founding Partner
Help shape one of the UK's emerging preventative programmes for young women. As a Founding Partner, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Shape the development of Safe Futures™
- Host early delivery and pilot sessions
- Ensure the programme reflects the needs of your students or community
- Be recognised as an organisation backing earlier support for young women, from the beginning
What success looks like
Our programmes are designed to help young women leave with:
- Greater confidence in recognising healthy and unhealthy relationships.
- Increased understanding of consent and personal boundaries.
- Stronger support networks.
- Greater financial confidence.
- Improved confidence navigating early adulthood.
Every programme includes a simple before-and-after measure, so partners can see the difference it makes.
How we measure success
- Pre- and post-programme questionnaires, so change is visible.
- Confidence and knowledge measures across the four foundations.
- Participant feedback in their own words.
- A simple partner report after delivery.
Partnership pathways
Universities & colleges
Talks now; freshers' workshops and Safe Futures™ as they launch; student wellbeing collaborations.
Community, faith & women's organisations
Hosting Her Voices events, group programmes and community workshops.
Employers & graduate schemes
Early-career sessions on confidence, boundaries and financial independence.
Local authorities & commissioners

Safeguarding & delivery
Every partnership runs with a named safeguarding lead, trained facilitators who signpost rather than counsel, clear signposting to specialist support, and consent and privacy respected under UK GDPR. We shape delivery around your setting, in person first, online where it helps.
Where we are
- Now: Her Voices listening events, hearing directly from young women.
- Next: the Safe Futures™ pilot, delivered with founding partners.
- Then: wider delivery across universities, colleges and community settings.
We'd rather be honest about where we are than overstate it. We're building this carefully, with evidence, young women's voices and a small group of founding partners.
Let's talk
Tell us who your young women are and what you're trying to build for them, and we'll come back to you with what's possible.
